INTERESTS

Travel and discovery of cultures and technology are important to me.

I visited the USA twice and North Africa.

I also have had the opportunity to travel extensively in several countries in Asia, like China, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Qatar, Oman, Israel and Jordan, in the Caribbean Islands Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago as well as all over Europe. As a result, I feel confident to communicate with people from different religions and cultures and simultaneously understand their views and attitudes. Especially I was happy to experience their civilization, way of life and level of technology.

Hiking, swimming, cycling and mountaineering are my favourite activities.

This is the reason that, especially during my summer vacations in Litohoro, I have visited most of the refugees of Olympus and not only, while I managed to reach both the peak «Mytikas» of Olympus (2918 m) and the peak of Ossa or Kissavos (1978 m).

In my social and religious life, during my PhD studies (1993-96), I used to be an active member of the Greek Christian Orthodox Community in London.
