Apostolos Zafeiropoulos currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Dept of Biosystems Engineering of TEI of Thessaly. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Physics with Physical Electronics, from Bath University (UK) and a degree in Electronics Engineering from Sivitanidios Institute in Athens, Greece.

He, also, holds a M.Sc. in Theoretical Atomic Physics from Adelphi University (USA) and in 2009 obtained a Ph.D from the School of Systems Engineering, University of Reading (UK), with thesis title: “Prospects for studying plant water relations using THz technology”.

Prior to his permanent appointment at TEI of Thessaly, he worked as an adjunct Assistant Professor at the same Institution, in the Positive Sciences Dept, and at the Angricultural Engineering & Irrigation Dept. He also worked for a number of years as a Physics teacher in Secondary Education Schools.

He has three journal papers and three conference papers.

His work experience, apart from teaching, is with the electrical & instrumentation engineering sector in the Hellenic Sugar Industry, Larissa, Greece, and the Paradyne Corporation, USA, where he worked as a modem tester, in the year 1985-86.
